With almost 20 years of experience working with hundreds of expat families, Kate has devoted her professional career to supporting third-culture and expat kids through life’s transitions. She draws on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and mindfulness practices to help children navigate challenges, build resilience, and thrive during periods of change.

Jamie Rhiannon Fehribach, MSc.
Clinical Supervisor & Creative Director
Jamie’s psychological background (focused in anxiety and specific phobias) and experience leading various aspects of EKC operations make her fantastic at curating content for our clinical interventions and network outreach strategies.

Karolina Dąbrowska, MSc.
Director of Assessment Services & Psychologist
Karolina grew up in Poland, but her expat journey has taken her to England and the Netherlands. With a background in both Education and Psychology, she brings holistic support to intercultural children and families. In addition to supporting clients therapeutically, Karolina also leads EKC’s psychoeducational assessment services.

Inka Homanen, MSc.
Service Coordinator & Psychologist
Originally from Finland, Inka is passionate about supporting international families with a child-centered approach. She works with kids and teens on a wide range of emotional, developmental, and intercultural challenges, using an integrative, strengths-focused approach. She also coordinates EKC’s services and team, ensuring families receive consistent, high-quality care.

Adam Németh, MSc.
Psychologist
Originally from Hungary, Adam has had the chance to live, study and work in the US and in Chile as well, before settling down in Amsterdam. Throughout his career he has worked in various settings with kids and young people. Tailoring support to the unique backgrounds, identities and neurotypes of clients has always been an important element of his therapeutic approach.

Daphne Bouchépillon, BSc.
Remote Psychologist
Daphne is originally from The Netherlands, but became an expat herself living in Belgium, England, and – currently – France. She practices in English and Dutch, and is close to being fluent in French as well.

Jackie Ebben-Marsh, PGDip.
Play Therapist
Jackie was born and raised in England but always knew she was destined to live in another country. She is passionate about delivering child-led, integrative, and holistic therapy sessions to children through the international language of play.

Karen Schneider, MEd.
Psychologist
Karen speaks English, German, and Afrikaans. She has spent years working in an international environment in school and private practice settings fostering growth, resilience, and self-exploration.

Maayan Cohen, MSc.
Psychologist
Maayan has a lot of experience working with expat kids at international schools (and was one herself). She values holistic approaches towards supporting children, flexibly integrating elements from several therapeutic approaches, and actively involving the children and their parents in the process.

María Ariken
Masters Student Intern
María grew up between worlds in Singapore. She has a deep love for languages and cultures - in addition to speaking fluent English and Spanish, she has also learned Mandarin Chinese and French. María finds it important to honour each child’s unique story and strengths.

Juniper
Juniper joins the team ready to take naps next to our clients and receive ear scratches. She loves making new friends with people (and dogs, too!) and helping clients to overcome their fear of cats!

Cherry has the very important role of CCO (Chief Cuddle Operator). She has provided endless comfort to so many of our clients – and also is available to help them face their fears around dogs!
