Nota Chiotaki
Nota was born and raised in Chania, a coastal city on the Greek island of Crete. From a young age, she felt drawn to understanding the unique ways people think, experience emotions, and interact with the world around them. This interest led her to complete her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of Crete, during which she also had the opportunity to take part in an Erasmus exchange at Sigmund Freud University, in Vienna.
Throughout her Bachelor studies, she became increasingly aware of the significant impact that early support can have on a person’s mental health and well-being. This inspired her to specialize in Child and Adolescent Psychology, and do an internship with neurodivergent children from expat families.
At EKC, Nota hopes to continue working with this community, while expanding her knowledge and experience with different psychotherapeutic approaches. She strives to provide high-quality support to children and their families, guided by warmth, empathy, and respect for each child’s uniqueness.
