Clinical Master’s Student Intern

Are you a clinical psychology master’s student looking for an internship position? Each year we accept two interns - a Fall (August through February) and Spring (February through June) intern. Applications for the Fall internship open every year in April, and for the Spring internship in October. The exact dates are posted on this website and on our social media.
This role is ideal for a Master’s-level Clinical (Child) Psychology student looking to gain hands-on experience in a professional therapeutic setting. Under the supervision of a Clinical Supervisor, you will observe client cases, conduct research, and contribute to team discussions to deepen your clinical understanding and skills. Internships are hybrid, working online and in our offices three days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
Observe and support client cases under the guidance of experienced team members.
Take detailed notes during observed sessions to assist in case discussions.
Conduct research and develop materials as requested by psychologists.
Engage in deep-dive explorations of various psychological topics and present findings to the EKC team.
Contribute to sharing psychological insights with the wider community via EKC's blog and social media channels.
Attend weekly team meetings to contribute insights and learn from discussions.
Participate in weekly supervision meetings with the Clinical Supervisor for guidance and professional development.
Qualifications & Skills:
Recently graduated from or currently enrolled in a Master’s program in Clinical (Child) Psychology or a related field.
Strong observational, analytical, and research skills.
Ability to take clear and concise notes during sessions.
Eager to learn, proactive, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
Respect for confidentiality and ethical guidelines in clinical settings.
Identifies as an (A)TCK

Please note that the official start date of the fall internship (including in-person commitments) is August 13th 2026 but onboarding (minimal in-person requirements) begins already at the end of June.
