​* Sessions conducted by the Founder/Director are billed at a different rate due to the advanced level of clinical supervision, leadership responsibilities, and specialized expertise in supporting internationally mobile children and families.

**Correspondence that exceeds 15 minutes or occurs more than once in a given week will be charged per our hourly rate. School visitations, home visits, phone consultations with other professionals working with your family, writing extended psychological reports, and/or parent meetings (online, phone, or in-person) are all also charged per the hourly rate.

 *** In some circumstances, the team will need to have an extended case consultation. These extended meetings are also subject to additional surcharges. In these circumstances, extended meetings do not take place until the need has been communicated to the paying-client and explicit approval from the paying-client has been received. We work to be as transparent as possible in all aspects of our billing. We’re always happy to answer any questions and clarify our policies.

The total fee for assessments and screenings depends on the chosen package, and is based on an hourly fee of €220.*

*While we do our best to provide accurate time estimates, testing duration can vary depending on individual case needs. If testing takes significantly more or less time than anticipated, fees may be adjusted accordingly. Occasionally, the team may recommend an extended case consultation. These meetings incur additional surcharges and will only take place after the paying client has been notified and has provided explicit approval. We value transparency and are always happy to answer questions or discuss our billing policies.

Our assessment fees are based on the time reserved for the appointment rather than the number of measures completed. Therefore, the full fee for the scheduled assessment session will apply regardless of late arrival.

Assessment and screening sessions often involve materials set up. As such, appointments are scheduled based on the anticipated administration of specific measures within a designated time block.

Clients who arrive to assessment sessions late may be able to be seen for the remaining portion of their scheduled appointment if the clinician determines there are assessment measures that can be completed safely and appropriately within the time remaining.

If assessment measures cannot be completed because of a late arrival, additional appointments may be required. These additional appointments will be billed at the clinic's standard assessment rates.

Assessment timelines provided at intake assume all appointments are attended as scheduled and on time. Late arrival to assesment sessions may result in delays to assessment completion, report preparation, and feedback sessions.

Clients who arrive so late that meaningful assessment administration cannot occur may be considered a late cancellation or no-show and charged the full appointment fee in accordance with EKC's cancellation policy.

By booking an assessment appointment, clients acknowledge and agree to these terms.
